From 1 October 2026, changes to credit card surcharge arrangements will come into effect.
We would expect all suppliers and service providers to automatically update their systems and remove any surcharges that are no longer applicable from this date. However, it is always a good idea to check your invoices, receipts, and payment processes to ensure the correct charges are being applied.
