Throughout his career Mark has travelled extensively and worked in Hong Kong, China and Europe, including London, in public practice, the automotive/manufacturing industry and the tourism industry.
Mark’s overseas experience proved a valuable insight into the operations of different business segments, the financial recording systems and exposure to different taxation regimes. It also reinforced the notion that becoming a Chartered Accountant would be an invaluable qualification to gain as it is recognised throughout the world as a symbol of excellence.
As a result Mark returned to Tasmania in 1991, joined Millar Seymour & Co (later to become Camerons), and completed the Institute of Chartered Accountant professional year program.
As Camerons has grown so has the diversity of Mark’s clients, covering industry segments such as rural, health, manufacturing, information technology, tourism, marketing and consulting.
Mark is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, the Taxation Institute and is a registered tax agent.
Mark has been a Principal of Camerons Accountants and Advisors Pty Ltd for 21 years
Mark focus within Camerons is in assisting SME’s achieve their full potential by providing advice on structuring, business planning, finance and the implementation and the development of reporting and management systems across a broad cross section of industries.
